Have you ever wanted to do something that’s outside the box in terms of game creation? Well, if you join the Subject X Games team, you can help further that goal. Right now we are working on a game that involves some heavy photoshop, but we need people who can design sprites and possibly panoramic backgrounds. We also need beta testers and possibly someone to help with storyboard. Between the rest of us, we have been working on the core game mechanics.

There are some big projects that we want to accomplish though. Among these projects, there are:

  1. A Tactical battle system within a game
  2. A side scrolling RPG
  3. A non-loop heavy custom menu system
  4. Multi-linear storyline with multiple endings
  5. A tweaked battle system that keeps the player involved
  6. Offering 70 to 120 hours of game play
  7. Create at least one game with completely original graphics
  8. Create at least one game with completely original music
  9. Get one of our games to be downloaded over 5000 times
  10. Have fun in the entire process

These may seem simple, but the first is the most tackling of all of them. To make a tactical battle system within an RPG would be monstrous. The amount of variables and switches needed is insane. But, it has been done in two case that we have heard of, the first is Aurora Wing (Still very incomplete but shows the bare bones), and one other which was a tutorial on RPG Revolution.
